Work gave me purpose, friendships and the ability to support a family. It also became an excuse to postpone rest and relationships. I once believed being needed was proof that I mattered. Some of my estate decisions may look uneven when viewed only as numbers. They were shaped by support already given, different needs and responsibilities that cannot be explained in one line.
